My mind is open, which in this context means my understanding of the topic may shift when provided professionally-prepared evidence to back other claims. Just look what you need, ask yourself then ask someone else then decide if you can afford what they tell you.īTW BF4 is old but i could get 180fps and avg of 130 min of 90 fps. Why going to a lockchip and not overclock i just knew that someday replacing parts will still be expensive.
On CPU i purchase G3258 cause right now here in my country it suck balls that its way to expensive even getting i5 4460 cost around $190 and the G3258 cost $55-60 here cause they dont even know it was unlock yeah now im looking at my next upgrade it will be a Xeon E3 1231 V3 and yes my MoBo could support it. I purchase the MSI H81M-P33 for $49 sold it for $45 purchase a new ASUS B85M-GAMER MoBo that i found on Sale like $59 so i just addad $14, i could go all out 4x8gb ddr3 and 1 gpu and add a 1 PCIE wireless card and i could even add 4 SATA3 SSD. So i just did what i think would fit best in my case a MoBo that can do stuff right CPU Upgrade and enough SATA 3 and RAMM Slot that will i be using in the next 2-4years. I choose the B85 cause i just need a mobo with 4 dimm slot that can support max 32gb ram and i really dont need SLI or CF and M.2 slot is out of the question expensive as hell and to what i will be doing with it will be most likely up to you, yeah going with a $100-120 z97 will be good but remember replacing parts will be always expensive. Hmm how could i put this to my point of view in my own way, if you purchase a z97 or z170 buy what you will use and afford basically find a good deal look what you need and list it down. Does b85 better than h81? Will the g3258 can run new games like bf4 or similar games? "if i took his life early i been saving up for an cpu replacement e3 1231-v3" only if i kill this g3258. but for me i might end up using this CPU in his Lifetime. The Games i Play on my Rig are Old Games Like Dota 2 Reborn and CS:GO but i would surly agree with this cpu if your going to play lower title and soon upgrade your CPU then play Big end titles.
But in Game hah my Temps are only 66c~69c max at 71c and this is a full 6hours game play.ĪSUS H81M-A you can OC with this.
I use the MSI H81M-P33 and i overclock it with Stock Cooler and i got AIDA64 12 hour stress test and temps only go over 60-70C, but when i got my NZXT S340 Case the MSI MoBo Look ugly Sold it to a friend purchase a ASUS B85M-GAMER and currently overclock at with a Cooler Master Hyper 212X This is to high but on AIDA65 Temps only goes 81c~85c this was a 23H53M Stress Test. But do keep in mind you will be Limited in your Games of Choice and if you choose games like GTA V you might Change a few Settings to make it Run. No it will not, for the best value of money go with MSI H81M-P33 if your Lucky with your G3258 could give you Value to Performance.
The build is for my brother and will be used for gaming. I need help in finding the best cheap motherboard for Intel Pentium G3258? I heard that nowadays, it will be hard to OC the G3258 because of BIOS/Windows update.
